Ellen Hopkins

Ellen Hopkins is one of my favorite authors. I started reading her books in 6th grade, the first book I read was Burned. All of her books are written in poem form and usually deal with what teens are facing today, and are dealing with now. They seem like long books, but once you start reading, the pages will fly by and you'll find yourself unable to put the books down. Every single one of these books I've read were very enjoyable. Although I'm usually choking back tears when I finish.

My favorite book of hers are Impulse, Burned, Crank, Glass, and Fallout. There are some books I still haven't read and I really want to read Identical and Perfect.
