Okay so I was going to start with the ones I watched when I was little, like Pokemon, Hamtaro, Sailor Moon, etc. But I don't think they really count? So I'll say Death Note, since it was the first 'real' anime that I watched.
I was twelve or thirteen and in sixth grade, and I heard about Death Note a lot. I forget from where. Anyway, I found it on On Demand one night when I was looking for something to watch and decided to give it a go. After the first two episodes I was hooked and I finished the entire series in two days. This was the show that got me into anime.
