Lisa Frank = colorful rainbow explosion of magical animals and kittens and bunnies and horses and roses and kisses galore. Amazing stuff.
I remember having Lisa Frank school supplies when I was little… Everyone I knew in elementary school - or anyone the was anyone - had a Lisa Frank binder, folder, pencil box, eraser set, or some other permutation of frothy eyelash-riddled LF school supply. The company is still around and kickin’, although I’ll admit I don’t love their new girly designs quite as much as the old skool stuff. I prefer the simple delight of lovable animals playing in a rainbow environment rather then Bratz- doll-like, big-eyed girls.
How can you not love this stuff?! It’s so saturated with amazing color, it doesn’t even matter what’s happening in the crazy scene. All the characters have a backstory. They have names. They have goals, and hobbies, likes and dislikes. I love companies that focus on cute characters (like sanrio and san-x) and this is definitely on my list of favorite brands! Whats better then dogs and giant strawberries, hugging penguins, and unicorns? No really, you tell me.
